I had to stop chasing personal glory. I had to learn how to give my best effort onto God and just trust Him with the results. I had to learn to have enough faith to trust in his grace, to trust in his sovereign and perfect plan. I had to submit my will. I had to submit my desire. I had to submit my dream. I had to give it all up to God and just say, ‘Look, I’m gonna give my best effort. I’m gonna go out on the court and play every day for you and I’m gonna let you take care of the rest.’ And this is something I still struggle with every day.
